Use of Texas Enterprise Content
Most written content and videos created by Texas Enterprise staff and posted on the Texas Enterprise site are licensed under a Creative Commons agreement, which allows Users to Share (copy, distribute, and transmit the work) under the same kind of license and with proper Attribution.
Certain multimedia content — including most images — will NOT fall under the Creative Commons license. Such content will be clearly labeled with attribution to the copyright holder. Site Users will not be permitted to reproduce or distribute these restricted items without explicit permission from the McCombs School of Business.
User Submissions
The University of Texas does not endorse any User Submission or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and the University expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with User Submissions. When reposting or linking to Texas Enterprise content (as permitted by our Creative Commons agreement), Users may not imply endorsement or sponsorship by the University.
In connection with User Submissions, Users agree that they will NOT:
Use the Texas Enterprise website to violate copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
Submit material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third-party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless User is the owner of such rights or has permission from their rightful owner to post the material
Publish falsehoods or misrepresentations, or make potentially slanderous or libelous comments that could damage the University or any third party
Submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate
Post advertisements or solicitations of business
Impersonate another person
Texas Enterprise reserves the right to remove User Submissions without prior notice. Texas Enterprise will remove a User Submission if properly notified that such User Submission infringes on another’s intellectual property rights.
